Did your son or daughter tell you excited that they want to go to the prom? Proms are really important to young people that they really want to do. Proms give them chances to do many new things like adult.
01. They get a chance to dress up. As a formal affairs, prom party gives youngs the chance to dress themselves with beautiful set of clothing- flattering prom dresses, formal tuxedo. It is a special occasion worth to go shopping for it.
For young gentlemen, it means a new suit and it will mean the first time in his life probably that he will wear a suit to formal affair outside of church. For young ladies, a long prom dress is the desired outfit (short prom dresses are accepted and become popular these years). Besides prom dress, dress up for this occasion also include makeup, beautiful shoes, hairstyles, and other detail needed to make her look like a princess. The final goal for both of them is to get compliments from all of their friends.
02. It is a chance for young people to show off in front of their friends. In fact everyone who attend the prom is seeking to be singled out as prom king and queen, best dressed, and best looking. Winning an award at the prom is something that they can be pround of throughout the year.
03. Childern can show their parents they can handle responsibility.
Prom is controlled by young people, one of their agendas is to make sure that everything gets smoothly and to plan. This creates an environment where the young people monitor each other and their behavior. For examples drinking and drugs are not allowed, thye should make sure anyone there on their best behavior and not doing anything that will distrupt the prom activities.
04. Prom is event set up only for young people, they can act like independent people.
This one-night event is not initiated by parents, young people are in complete control. This marks the first time where young people have complete control an event and they love the independence they're being granted.
Prom will be part of young person's memory, they will talk about for months. And they might also talk to their childern in future, too.
